Pakshipathalam
Pakshipathalam in Bramha Giri hills at Thirunelly is a challenging tourist spot. It is 7 km North-east of Thirunelly temple and is situated 1740m above mean sea level. To reach 'Pakshipathalam', 17 km have to be covered through wild forest. The deep rock caves formed among the thick blocks of rocks at the northern top end of the Brahmagiri is the abode of various birds and wild beasts.
Meenmutty Water Falls
12 km from the east of Meppadi. Waterfalls to a depth of more than 500m. in 3 steps. Trekking equipment is available at Tourist Information Centre, Kalpetta.

Kanthanpara Waterfalls
Though smaller than the Soochipara waterfalls, the Kanthanpara waterfalls is a must visit the location in Wayanad. The Kanthanpara waterfall has a height of about 30 meters in two steps, giving it a feel of two waterfalls. If you wish to spend some quality time with your family or friends, these waterfalls form the ideal picnic spot. The lush surroundings of the waterfalls make it a great spot for camping, trekking, and swimming.
Kuruva Dweep
The 950 acre protected river delta of Kuruva Dweep, is located in the Kabini River at Wayanad, Kerala. This island is the only one in Kerala that is surrounded by a naturally purified water source. One can get a sight of many rare species of birds, orchids, and herbs, as the region has these in plentiful. The island is surrounded by streams and river which can be accessed by rafts or the fiber boats run by the Kerala Tourism Department.
